Ordination Prerequisites

3.1 Homiletics III

  • Course Description: A practicum to apply key elements from Homiletics I and II. Extensive study of Biblical sermon preparation and delivery using sense appeal and audience adaptation.
  • Textbook: Included in the course.

3.2 Systematic Theology I

  • Course Description: In-depth study of major areas of systematic theology, including God, Scripture, and the nature of God.
  • Textbook: Lectures in Systematic Theology – Henry C. Thiessen

3.3 Systematic Theology II

  • Course Description: Continuation of Systematic Theology I, further exploring essential Christian doctrines.
  • Textbook: Lectures in Systematic Theology – Henry C. Thiessen

3.4 Apologetics I

  • Course Description: Introduction to apologetics, equipping students to defend Biblical truth.
  • Textbook: Christian Apologetics – Norman Geisler

3.5 Apologetics II

  • Course Description: Building on Apologetics I, applying tests for truth to various theistic worldviews and exploring historical Christianity.
  • Textbook: Christian Apologetics – Norman Geisler

3.6 PCAFI Apostolic Ceremony II

  • Course Description: A continuation of Apostolic Ceremony, focusing on order, symbolism, and church governmental offices.
  • Textbook: Included in the course from the PCAFI office of protocol
