PCAFI MINISTERIAL INSTITUTE - CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Welcome to the PCAFI Ministerial Institute, where we are committed to empowering and equipping individuals seeking ministerial credentials with the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International (PCAFI). Our comprehensive courses are designed to foster a deeper understanding of Biblical principles and ministerial skills, preparing candidates for impactful service in the Kingdom of God.

Local License Prerequisites

1.1 and 1.2 Acts I and II

  • Course Description: An in-depth study of the Book of Acts and relevant scriptures for candidates seeking Local Minister Credentials. Emphasis on understanding and applying Apostolic principles.
  • Textbooks: Holy Bible – KJV or ESV; ACTS: The Amazing History of the Early Church – Jet Witherspoon Toole

1.3 Homiletics I

  • Course Description: The study of Homiletics, focusing first on the preacher, then sermon construction techniques and sermon delivery. A prerequisite for Homiletics II.
  • Textbooks: The Preacher and His Preaching – A. P. Gibbs; Here Am I, Send Me. Answering God’s Call to Ministry – Karen Harris

1.4 Doctrine Introduction

  • Course Description: Continued ‘elementary’ Apostolic studies for the preaching/teaching ministry, focusing on the doctrine of salvation.
  • Textbook: Everybody Can’t Be Right! – Bishop John T Leslie, Jr.
